WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the item level by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the Item Level Upgrade and current item level upgrade level and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers for example. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. The new currency system isn't difficult to use, however it will bring some changes to the upgrade process. For instance, once an item reaches the highest upgrade level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible level for all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests wisely, as they are only used for one purpose.
